Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Acts as the administrative point of contact for the school greets visitors, ensures security processes are in place and followed and provides hospitality as appropriate;

Administers and coordinates student recruitment and assessment activities

Acts as personal assistant to the Headteacher including dealing with highly confidential and sensitive issues;

Handles school correspondence;

Meets schedules and time lines;

Communicates effectively both orally and in writing;

Models appropriate behaviour around children

Responsible for the upkeep of the school diary

Provides the administrative support for the organisation of school trips and events

Co-coordinates content for school publications including newsletters, reports, questionnaires and liaises with external parties as necessary

All other administrative duties assigned by the line manager

Preferred Skills

Work experience in an educational/office/commercial environment

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills

Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, teachers, the community and other administrative staff

IT literate
